Heading into its ninth year, the John Hartford Memorial Festival, a family friendly event, is on a mission to preserve and continue the legacy, music, and ideals of John Hartford; one of America's most beloved songwriters, performers, and musicians. The John Hartford Memorial Festival, “The Most Laid-Back Festival in America”, has announced their final line-up along with the kick-off of their John Hartford Band Contest and Songwriter’s Challenge.
They began accepting entries for both contests on January 1, 2019. Deadline to enter the John Hartford Band Contest is February 28, 2019, and the deadline for entering the Songwriter’s Challenge is March 31, 2019.
